Quartz is low‑maintenance, non‑porous, and highly resistant to stains. Its main limitations are that it’s not recommended for outdoor use unless specified by the manufacturer, and it can be sensitive to extremely high heat (typically above 300°F / 150°C).
Porcelain Surfaces
Porcelain slabs offer a sleek, ultra‑thin profile ranging from 6mm panels to thicker 30mm options, making them versatile for countertops, walls, and large‑format applications. They’re extremely durable, UV‑stable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects. Porcelain is highly resistant to scratches, stains, and heat. However, chips and cracks are often irreparable and may require full replacement, and fabrication typically takes longer due to the material’s hardness and edge sensitivity.
